The Socialist Party of Michigan 2008 State Convention will be held on Saturday October 4th in Meeting Room No. 1 at the Ypsilanti District Library (Michigan Ave. Branch) in Ypsilanti, MI. SPMI State Conventions, are the highest ranking body of the Socialist Party of Michigan. At State Conventions, SPMI members amend the SPMI By-Laws and Platform, propose and amend SPMI resolutions, nominate and/or confirm SPMI candidates, and elect the SPMI State Executive Committee.
The 2008 Socialist Party of Michigan State Convention will begin at 10:00AM and last until 5:30PM. The Convention is free and open to the public and everyone interested is encouraged to attend!
